This past year at the Lunar Planetary Society Conference meeting Jessica Noviello and I interviewed several scientists, engineers, and administrators. These are a few of the portraits resulting from our interviews.
Jessica Noviello, a current PhD student at Arizona State University whose research centers around understanding the geologic features of Europa.
Jessica and I co-interviewed a myriad of different scientists, engineers, and administrators all passionate about science.
Dr. Moses Milazzo, a scientist at USGS in Northern Arizona is a passionate voice in the planetary science community advocating for diversity, inclusion, and anti-harassment. At this year’s 2018 LPSC he co-ran a bystander intervention workshop to help others understand how to be allies for anti-harassment.
Dr. Christina Richey is a physicist working at NASA Jet Propulsion Labs on missions such as Europa Clipper.
Out at Los Alamos National Labs Dr. Nina Lanza enjoys shooting lasers with the ChemCam instrument onboard the Mars Curiosity Rover.
